A while ago I bought the hitec's aurora radio system. For those of you not familiar with rc-models, this system is capable of telemetry feed from the model. But the guys in hitec have decided to sell the necessary hardware (sensors and the sensor hw interface) separately. It retails at about 50 euros (the heli pack). I decided to play a bit with the receiver and as a final goal, to at least figure out how to send single sensor data without having the original sensor station. After a little search on the net, I found a diy solution complete with code and schematics, I took a look at it, but i decided to continue on my own just for the fun of reverse engineering.
