Interests

• Academic character
  • After completing undergraduate studies, I intend to continue following a postgraduate program. With regard to thematic section of it, for the time being I have various thoughts and finalization will be done at that period.
• Artistic character
  • Painting
    It's one of my favorite hobbies. I mainly take to abstract art, through which I want to produce colors and textures that create space, shapes that show movement and textures different from those that arise from the use of the brush. Furthermore, I am very interested in techniques using individual eveyday objects or the combination of them, while at the same time, the mentality of written messages on canvas always being harmonized with the content each time. Except for the abstract field I also paint seaside landscapes, from which I want the feeling of carelessness, relaxation and pleasant mood to spring. All my efforts, decorate the houses of my family in Argos, Athens, Crete and Mercouri, which is the country house.
    
    
  • DIY Constructions
    My relationship with these constructions started after my accession to the Technical University of Crete. I work, mainly, with raw wood, wire of various cross-sections and twine or rope. These constructions are related more to the decoration and less to the repairs. My motto of my efforts make up fashion trends, but cut and sewn within the permissible surrounding area.
    
    
  • Architecture
    My love for architecture is great. I am particularly interested in modern homes and public buildings, new materials, and smart, friendly and automatic ways of facilitating everyday life in all of these. I also take to the study of historical and modern buildings as to how they were constructed so that they fit smoothly into eachenvironment in terms of materials and philosophy. Finally, I pay close attention to three-dimensional printing, because I think it has much to offer.
    
    
  • Movie theater
    As far as the cinema is concerned, what interests me beyond the obvious is the "way" until it is ready for viewing. That is, all stages-stations that pass through to the final destination. From finding the places to the final fixes of virtual effects. In addition, I take to the techniques which are applied, as well as with the equipment used, depending on the needs and requirements of the film. I prefer seeing action and mystery movies. Apart from watching, I am also interested in participating in films. The most recent movie I was a contributor to was the film entitled "My Brother", directed by Thodoris Papadoulakis, which was screened at the 6th International Film Festival in Chania.
    
    
  • Theater
    Although I do not watch theater plays very often, when I do,it is definitely a comedy. What interests me most about theater is the effort to write a script for a one hour comedy, something which I have been working on for the last two months. So far I have written thirty pages, including the pages which analyze the way of the acting in each scene, except for the costumes.
    
    
• Musical character
  • Listenings
    The songs that I hear with great pleasure are Greek, English and Spanish. Of course, that does not mean that I will not hear something apart from these. The kind of this music, is for Greek songs, country and pop music, while for English and Spanish songs pop music.
• Athletic character
  • Tennis
    My sport activities began with football, but I ended up playing tennis. But if we arrange to play football or watch a football match, I will join them. Although they say that individual sports mirror introverted individuals, I can say with great certainty that this is not the case with me, because I am particularly social. Since high school, where I started playing tennis, I have participated in a large number of tournaments, winning quite a good place in most of them. The usual place where somebody can find me playing tennis are the sports facilities of the Technical University of Crete, when I am in Crete and at the stadium, when I am in Argos.
    
    
  • Hiking
    As far as hiking is concerned, I am a lover of it because, on the one hand, you gett rich in experience and landscapes and on the other hand you decompress from the fast pace of everyday life. My most recent hiking trip was at Samaria Gorge.
    
    
  • Sea sports
    When I'm on holiday my favorite sea activity is jet ski. And this is because the sense of sea's "vastness" in combination with speed create intense and pleasant emotions.
