24/04/2018 – 24/04/2021: Scientific Responsible for the research project “Formulation of optimization problems using game theory and application of metaheuristic algorithms for their solution”. This research is co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund- ESF) through the Operational Programme: Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning, in the context of the project, Strengthening Human Resources Research Potential via Doctorate Research (MIS-5000432), implemented by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Research Team: Manousos Rigakis.

04/07/2016 – 31/08/2017: Scientific Responsible for the research project Adaptive fine tuning of evolutionary algorithms, applied in transportation systems, using data mining and game theory techniques”. Financed by IKY in the frame of the “Research Projects for Excelence IKY/Siemens”.

Financed by the European Union (FP7-ICT systems for Energy Efficiency) with Scientific Contribution to the project: the Optimization and the Design of the Algorithms.

1/1/2012-31/12/2013: Member of the research team of the research project “Improvement of integrity monitoring of piles using computational dynamics and global optimization”. Programme for the promotion of the exchange and scientific cooperation between Greece and Germany. Programme IKYDA 2012.

01/06/2012-31/07/2012: Member of the research team of the research projectUtilization of advanced technologies in the payment of use and management of public parking (Ε PARK)”. Programme for the scientific cooperation between Greece and Cyprus 2007-2013.
