Brief Summary

Marios Kastrinakis was born and raised in the city of Athens, Greece. He is an Electrical and Computer Engineer (ECE), from Technical University of Crete (TUC). In 2015, Marios received his 5-years Diploma of Engineering in ECE from TUC with excellence and he completed his diploma thesis with title "Traffic Modeling based on Real User-Generated Data from a Wireless Service Provider", under the guidance of Associate Prof. Polychronis Koutsakis. In 2017, he received his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in ECE from TUC, under the supervision of Prof. Costas Balas. During his master studies, he specialized in the fie ld of Optoelectronics and Imaging Diagnostics and he conducted partially-funded research for his master thesis with subject "Novel Spectral Mapping Indices for Improving Microscopy and Leukemia Diagnosis". Marios was the recipient of Technical University of Crete Excellence Awar d for his performance during academic year 2012-2013 and the recipient of Angelopoulos - Clinton GIU Fellowship and Continuation Grants dur ing academic years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 as Co-Founder of "Kaloudia", a complete electronic platfor m for publicizing, comparing and selling traditional products from all over Greece.
