-DiscoverGreece.

Best neighborhood to live in as a student.

West of the city center you can find the Dikastiria and Koum Kapi neighborhoods. This is one of the busiest areas of Chania and is home to several cafes, restaurants, and other attractions. Being affordable and close to the city center, with lots of bus stops,we reccomend them for our students.

Going out.

From pittoresque caffeterias like "Bohème", "Kross" or "Oxo Nou Studio", to bars like "Synagogi", "The Monastery of Karolos", "Bairaki" or "Three" Chania has many places waiting for you to explore them. Those who look for some clubs, "Senso" is the most popular among the young people, and "Klik" among tourist. In the summer, please do pass by "Ammos kai Hlios beach bar" at afternoon, you won't be dissapointed.

For our food lovers.

Yes, souvlaki may be our beloved greek street food, but living in Chania will grant you a whole new food experience. "Funky's" with their pizza, "Aladdin" with kebab, "Michalis" with the traditional cuisine, and even "Baotao" with plates from Asia will upgrade your student diet. Pro tip: search for your local "Maghirio" for student discounts and always be ready for some extra Raki.

Let's go, beaches.

It's no secret that Chania is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Specifically, your bucket list should include: Balos(60km north west), Elafonisi (82km south west), Falassarna (58km west) and Frangokastello (80km south). There are also beaches close to the city center: Nea Chora, Agioi Apostoloi, Loutraki and Kalathas. Side note: don't forget your sunscreen.
